I’d be reading this comic with gusto if it read left to right rather than the opposite order of the words in the balloons. It looks pretty good, but why are you emulating on purpose the dysfunctions imposed on the comics medium by the cross-cultural disaster that is the business of manga translation? It’s too absurd for me to stomach.
I get a feeling you didn’t actually understand my question. Let me paraphrase:
“Why do you have this painting hanging backwards?”
“You can still see what it’s supposed to be if you look close.”
That doesn’t really apply. See, in your metaphor, the painting is being flipped and presented in a way the artist didn’t intend. With this comic, Tatiana is drawing it this way intentionally. I’m sorry you don’t like it, but it;s too late to change now.
The only problem I ever have with an OEL reading R to L is that one expects it to read L to R. Usually, As soon as that is cleared up it is never a problem again. Your complaint comes across as entitlement more than anything else.

That’s just how the artist draws it. Honestly, it’s not that hard to follow once you get a couple of pages into it.

The problem is that it makes reading difficult when the words and the action flow go in different directions.
You’re missing the point.
