I meant to do this a few weeks back, but I couldn’t think of what to say.
So, I hope everyone’s enjoying the current chapter. I realised Angel needed to catch up on the action scenes, so I gave her this chapter to show off what she can do when not under the influence of the collar. Have to give everyone their moment in the spotlight.
Also, you may have noticed earlier or guessed from the title, but we have a new FAQ section. I’ve answered a bunch of questions there already, but if you have one you can’t see there, then just let me know and I’ll get an answer for you ASAP.
Hope all is well with you guys.

So today is the day we upload the last page of the first chapter of Domain Tnemrot. Hooray.
I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. I mean, there might be a hole in the story I missed and I didn’t do much in the way of character development, but I did get everyone introduced and managed to set up the scene so you guys know what you’re in for. The characters will grow and change, plus we may leave Tnemrot in the future to have adventures elsewhere, but this chapter pretty much represents what the series is about. And I hope you’ll stick around to see what happens.
The chapter went through some changes. It’s a lot more decompressed than my version, which was about 30 pages long, but Tatiana was right about that. It was pretty rushed without an occasional break, since I was writing for an American comic rather than a manga and I was still a little fresh to the whole thing, so I couldn’t expand my writing the way I wanted to. It’s why I haven’t tried to write a novel yet, I keep summarising too much. But she did basically get it down exactly as I envisioned. Well, maybe not her specific style, but the camera, the looks of the characters, their expressions and actions is pretty much how I saw it in my head. And she did a fantastic job crafting it. A special thanks to her for coming on board.
I can’t wait to show you guys what comes next.

Okay, I’ve decided I’m going to start updating this blog more often. I’m aiming for one every two weeks, since my other comic has a weekly blog and I need to make sure I have things to talk about for both.
As you can see, up top we have a Project Wonderful banner. I like using PW since it’s so simple, and with a quick click I can see the stats of not just my comics, but the comics of other people. And even though we haven’t been going for that long, Tnemrot has a couple hundred fans, which I love. I remember first starting out and getting over a hundred hits in a day was a miracle. But that was back in 2006. I’d use google ads since a lot of popular places have them, but I just can’t make heads or tails of the system. I guess I’m an idiot.
You know, I’ll probably read this again in a year and think “Wow, I’ve come so far.” Well, I at least assume by next year we’ll have a readership in the thousands. Here’s hoping. Well, in early 2009, I got super excited when I saw Living With Insanity had managed to get 1500 hits in a day. Now 3000 individuals is the norm. I’ll probably get excited when I hit 10,000, even though there are a lot of great comics out there who would be sad to see they only got 10,000 individual hits in a day.
But thanks to all the people who have checked out the site and are enjoying it. And especially a big thank you to the people who have been leaving comments on the pages. Remember, you don’t have to register or anything if you want to say what you’d like to. And I love hearing what people think of my work. Or if you want to just praise Tatiana, that’s also good.
Seeya next time.

Kind of got sick of having that late update notice there for so long. I hate reminders that I can’t always keep on schedule. It’s something that has always annoyed me, when someone can’t update their comic when they say they will (You know, except for injury or illness or a death in the family. Also, when their computer breaks down. Then I just hope everything will be okay). And it annoys me even more when the comic is one by me. But we’re all set until October so hopefully that’s the only slip up Tnemrot will ever have.
Oh, I was going to tell you guys something. Since we’re about thirty pages into the comic, I figure now is the right time to let you know more about it. So, I’ve finally updated the About section to contain some information on the world Tnemrot is set in, how the matches work, and a little bit about the characters we’ve met so far. I was going to add in some pictures of the characters next to their info, but photoshop has quit on me again (I need a new copy). So maybe next time I do an update on the About page they’ll be there for you to enjoy.
So, that’s all for now. I’ll try to get a Links page up soon, and maybe an FAQ if anyone asks me anything. And hey, maybe soon we’ll be so popular I can set up a forum. Anything is possible if you believe in yourself.
Hope everyone’s having a good weekend.
